69. Inufuguri (bird's eye)
At this time of year, bird's eyes already bloom at a sunny spot.
Ladybugs are also seen at the immediate vicinity.

68. Tochi no Ki (horse chestnut) sufferings
At a housing compound close to a nearby library.
This is a typical tall tree and its leaves are very broad, and probably too large to serve as a hedge.

67. Popular belief？
The parks arouhd here are all about 35 years old.
Their trees seem to have grown up too tall, many are cut down.
During the routine walk with Jiro, I was puzzled over the stump of a cut-down tree.
My curiosity made me walk with a compass the following day. I knew it!
This seems to indicate it is only a popular belief that tree growth rings grow fast in the direction to the south and the ring pitch is wider in that direction, hence we can recognize directions by examining a stump.
This tree is completely opposite.

66. Mikan
Got several pieces of mikan which grow at the yard next door.
It might be the same phenomenon that the mikan can grow in this Kanto region as that the rice can be harvested in Hokkaido.
In any way, it is pleasant to eat the mikan with its twig and leaves.

65. Oni-Nogesi
Still going to bloom under this cold weather, though this had looked blooming the whole summer.
Though I thought the prefix "Oni" (ogre) was adopted from its appearance, this die-hard nature might be another reason.

64. AO-73 Cubesat !!
The outlook of FUNcube-1 of AMSAT-UK which was one of the 18 satellites launched by an ICBM diverted Dnieper rocket last month.
The photo is from AMSAT-UK FUNcube Handbook First Edition by G3RWL. Thanks G3RWL. The satellite has become AO-73.
This is used for school educational purposes during daytime, and released for radio amateurs at night（G3RWL manual states that; When not in educational mode the spacecraft switches on a transponder for use by radio amateurs).
This is of Cubesat type、namely, a satellite of dimensions, 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm. To realize its size, I improvised the cube with an empty paper box of Glico Pokky as in the right photo.
I managed to communicate through this satellite 3 times for the last 2 weeks. Though I feel the 145 MHz downlink frequency is shifted upward by about 7 kHz compared to the announced frequency, this is a full-fledged satellite despite its size. Hat off!!!

63. Kusunoki berries (Camphor tree berries)
Camphor tree berries are getting black at a nearby partk.
No birds seem to take them, as the tree is such one producing camphor.
Or there might be some, since there exists such a butterfly as Aosuji Ageha which larvae feed on the leaves of camphor trees.

62. 1/3-scale model FO-29
Made FO-29 scale model. I use the satellite almost everyday. The model looks like a handicraft by children. But that shall be OK as I enjoyed making it very much.
Its launch was more than 17 years ago. Still its analogue transponder is woking.
In order not to overload the satellite, I have been trying to communicate with the smallest output possible.

Already December tomorrow.

Looks like a new digital single-lens reflex camera is released by Nikon.
The outer appearance is almost same as that of FE-2.
Photos are for the newspaper ad. and my FE-2.
Umm--. This is the very design of cameras.
Far better than the pervailing cameras with curved plasticky surfaces.
